How to fax the United Kingdom

Fax number format for the United Kingdom

  • From a US fax machine you would dial 011 44 20 xxxx xxxx: 011 to leave the US, 44 for the United Kingdom, then the number.
  • In JamFax, enter 44 20 xxxx xxxx: the country code, then the number. When you copy a number written for callers inside the United Kingdom, drop the leading 0 of the area code (020 becomes 20).
  • Numbers starting 07 are mobiles or other non-geographic numbers and cannot be faxed. Only landlines can be faxed.
