Who we are
JamFax is an online fax service provided by TKG Voice, LLC, doing business as JamFax.com ("JamFax", "we", "us"), 17113 Miramar Parkway, Suite 117, Miramar, Florida 33027. This policy explains what we collect when you use jamfax.com and the JamFax service at app.jamfax.com, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Questions: support@jamfax.com or (833) 952-6329.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, company, email address, phone number, billing address and the people you invite to your account.
- Faxes: the documents you send and receive, cover-page text you enter, and each fax's details: the numbers involved, time, page count, status and delivery report.
- Faxing by email: the emails you send to
fax.jamfax.com, including attachments and the technical headers we use to check the email came from you.
- Fax contacts: names, companies and fax numbers you save, and, if you connect Microsoft 365 or Google, the contacts we import from that account (see below).
- Billing: your plan, invoices and payment history. Card details are entered with our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Reviews: if you write a review, we keep your rating, your review text, and the name you choose to show (your first name and last initial, your company name, or none).
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, sign-in times and security events, used to run the service and keep accounts safe.
How we use it
- To send and receive your faxes, deliver them to your inbox and email, and show you their status.
- To make received faxes searchable: we read their text (OCR) only on our own servers, and that text is deleted with the fax.
- To run your account: sign-in, two-step verification, colleagues and, on Corporate Fax, department access.
- To bill you, collect payment, and send receipts, invoices and service notices.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and junk faxing, enforce our Terms, and keep the service secure.
- To answer support requests and improve the service.
- With your agreement, we publish reviews on jamfax.com, where search engines can show them. Before publishing, we check each review against our posting rules, the same rules for every rating.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your faxes or contacts for advertising.
Microsoft 365, Google, Google Drive and OneDrive
If you choose to connect a Microsoft 365 or Google account, we read your contacts' names, companies and fax numbers only, so they can appear in your JamFax fax contacts. We keep that access only until you disconnect, and you can disconnect at any time under Fax contacts. We do not read your email or calendar.
If you choose to save received faxes to Google Drive or OneDrive, JamFax writes them only to the folder it creates there (JamFax Faxes). With Google Drive, Google limits our access to the files we create; with OneDrive, Microsoft's permission covers your files, and we use it only for that folder. A copy saved there is yours: deleting a fax in JamFax, your Keep faxes for setting and the deletion after you close your account do not remove it. You can disconnect at any time from the fax line, and remove JamFax's access in your Google or Microsoft account settings.
JamFax's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that help us provide the service, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Telnyx: carries faxes over the phone network.
- DigitalOcean: hosts our servers, database and document storage.
- Mailgun (Sinch): receives the emails you send to fax.jamfax.com.
- SMTP2GO: sends our emails to you, including faxes delivered by email.
- Stripe: processes card payments.
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects our websites.
- Microsoft and Google: only if you connect your contacts, or choose to save received faxes to OneDrive or Google Drive.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply. A fax you send is, of course, delivered to its recipient.
How long we keep it
- You choose how long faxes are kept under Fax lines, Keep faxes for. Faxes older than that, and their documents, are deleted every night.
- Invoices and payment records are kept for 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
- You can edit or withdraw your review in the app at any time. A withdrawn review is removed from our site within 7 days and its text is deleted. When the account is closed, its reviews leave our site within 7 days and are deleted with its other data within 90 days.
- When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your faxes and contacts within 90 days, except what we must keep by law.
- Copies of faxes you chose to save to your Google Drive or OneDrive are in your account there, not ours; we do not delete them.
Security
We protect your information with HTTPS, private document storage opened only through short-lived links, two-step sign-in and access controls. See Security. No service is perfectly secure; we will notify you of a breach affecting your information as the law requires.
JamFax is not offered as a HIPAA-covered service unless we have signed a Business Associate Agreement with you. Do not send protected health information without one.
Your choices and rights
- You can see and update your account details in the app, download your faxes, and delete faxes or contacts.
- You can ask us to give you a copy of, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@jamfax.com. We will verify your request and reply within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example under Florida law), you may have further rights under local law. We will not treat you differently for using them.
- Service emails about your faxes, billing and security cannot be turned off while you have an account; you can change other notifications under Settings, Notifications.
Cookies
The JamFax app uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. jamfax.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

JamFax is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
