On the subscription plans, each page over the plan's monthly pages is $0.05; pay as you go is $0.10 a page from credit, with no free trial. The e-Fax free trial lasts 14 days with up to 50 pages, and your first e-Fax payment has a 30-day money-back guarantee; Corporate Fax can also buy page packs (500 pages $15, 2,000 pages $50, valid 12 months). Prices are in US dollars, plus applicable taxes and fees, billed monthly, or yearly for the price of 10 months. Cancel any time; your line keeps working until the end of the month or year you paid for. Unused months of a yearly plan are not refunded.

Questions
Do I need a fax machine or a phone line?
No. JamFax works in your web browser and through your email. Nothing to install.
How do I send a fax by email?
On an e-Fax line, turn on email sending, then email your document to the destination number at fax.jamfax.com, for example 13055550142@fax.jamfax.com. Send from the email address on your JamFax account. Attach up to 5 PDF or TIFF files, 10 MB each. We reply to tell you whether it went through.
What files can I fax?
PDF and TIFF. Most programs can save or print to PDF.
What counts as a page?
Every page you send or receive successfully. Faxes that fail are not counted.
Can I keep my existing fax number?
Yes. When you order a line, choose Transfer an existing fax number and enter the details from your current provider. There is no transfer fee. You keep using the number with your current provider until the transfer date, which appears under Fax lines once your provider confirms it, and your JamFax line is set up as soon as the number arrives.
How do I cancel?
Cancel the line from your account at any time. It keeps working until the end of the month (or year) you have paid for, and you are not billed again.
Is there a yearly plan?
Yes. Pay for a year up front and get two months free: e-Fax is $149.90 a year and Fax-to-Email is $59.90 a year, fax number included. You still get your plan's pages every month, and extra pages are billed monthly. Choose Annual when you order.
Can I fax Jamaica or other countries?
Yes. International faxing is off by default: the account owner turns it on in the app under Fax, then International. Only the US and Canada are domestic; Jamaica, the rest of the Caribbean and the US territories count as international. Every international page is paid from prepaid credit at that country's per-page price, and subscription plans need the $4.99 a month International add-on (Pay as you go doesn't). There is a $25 a day international spending cap per account by default, only landlines abroad are supported, and failed international faxes are not charged. Is JamFax HIPAA compliant?
No. JamFax does not currently offer a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and does not claim HIPAA compliance, so do not fax protected health information with JamFax. See HIPAA and JamFax.
