What a firm needs from a fax line
- A stable number you can keep on letterhead. You can transfer an existing number to JamFax with no transfer fee.
- Proof of sending. Every sent fax has a delivery report you can download for the file.
- Received faxes as PDFs, online and by email, ready to save to a matter.
- Cover pages that look right. Save your own templates or start from a sample, including a legal sample and a confidential sample.
Ways to send
Upload PDF or TIFF files in the browser. Several PDFs combine into one fax, up to 10 MB each. On e-Fax and Corporate Fax you can also fax by email from your account address, or use the Outlook add-in on Windows, Mac and the web (Outlook help). You can also print to fax from any program on Windows 10 or 11 and macOS.
For a mailing to many recipients, send the same fax to up to 50 numbers. You can schedule a fax up to 30 days ahead.
Keeping client documents safe
JamFax uses HTTPS and two-step sign-in. Documents are stored privately and opened through short-lived links, and you choose how long faxes are kept. Fax by email checks the sender. Read the security page for details. JamFax does not offer legal or compliance advice, so check what your own professional-responsibility rules require.
